How it works
Browser-based tools (compression, conversion, merging, splitting, rotating, editing, signing, page numbers, watermarks, cropping, password protection, redaction, OCR, and form filling) use WebAssembly to process your files entirely on your device. Nothing is uploaded — your browser does all the work. This means instant results, zero server load, and complete privacy.
AI-powered tools (summarization, translation, chat, question generation) require server-side processing. For these, your document is sent over an encrypted TLS connection to our AI processing service. It is permanently deleted the moment your session ends. We never store your documents or use them for model training.
